Project Linus Blanket Day 2010

Camp Koala participated in Project Linus' Blanket Day 2010, at Discount Vac & Sew in Mechanicsburg, PA. Project Linus donates blankets to our campers each year. We helped to make LOTS of blankets, and had a great day. Thanks to the lovely ladies from the Cumberland-Dauphin Co. Chapter for hosting and for keeping our campers warm around the campfire.

May 22 Training Date set for Big Buddy Volunteers

We have set a date for the Training Day for our Big Buddy Volunteers. The day is Saturday, May 22nd, at Camp Tuckahoe-where Camp Koala will be held June 11-13, 2010. All Big Buddy candidates are required to attend this day. There will be no other training session. After the training day, our Big Buddy candidates will be notified as to whether or not they've been matched with a Little Buddy. Please get your applications in ASAP if you are a returning BB, as many new applications are arriving. Hope to see you there!!! (Lisa, Brant, Mickey, Jerry & Audrey)
