CK family hosts Charity Event to benefit Camp Koala 11/17

Wilson College Athletic Department is proud to host "Sophie's Six, 6K run/1 mile walk", to benefit Camp Koala. Sophie's Six is in memory of Sophia Grace Martin, who died at age 3 in a tragic accident. Her siblings attended Camp Koala and benefited from the companionship found in the camp's supportive environment. As Sophie's Aunt, it became important to me to give back to those that helped my family through this tragedy. Please visit www.sophiessix.com for more information.

We are seeking sponsors for this event, which will host hundreds of walkers and runners. Sponsors levels are Bronze ($50+), Silver ($100+), Gold ($250) and Platinum ($500+). Please contact Lori Frey at lfrey@wilson.edu to donate cash and/or in-kind gifts (food/beverages, 250 gift bag items, gift certificates, door prizes or gift baskets.

Please join us on November 17th! The run is 6K, and the walk is 1 mile. Entry forms are available at www.sophiessix.com or on our EVENTS page  (see link at the top of this page). Many awards will be given, as well as medals to all finishers in the walk, which is a great event for kids!

Thank you to the 254 participants, all of our supporters and volunteers!

We had a super turnout for last night's Family Workshops/Support Groups! 36 people are registered-kids, teens and adults. We are packed at 201 N Hanover Street, especially in the teen room! Thank you to everyone who participated, shared, and supported one another. And, thank you to all of our group leaders, volunteers and new group leaders. We have grown so much this year that we have had to add new groups! Here is a photo from our kids group, and their feelings masks. Workshops!! Support Groups!! We are bursting at the seams!

We have had an amazing turnout for our fall workshops/support groups. We have had such a huge response, that we had to add a second group. We are FULL and can no longer add any other applicants. Thank you to everyone who is attending these workshops.

Workshops!!

Our Family Workshops are bursting at the seams! What a wonderful turn out tonight! We are so happy that our workshops were so well received, and that we are able to provide our services to so many families. We started the evening with homemade lasagna and plenty of ice cream. We're already looking forward to seeing everyone again at our next group!
