Other ways you can help:

  • Host a Camp Koala clothing collection bin through Community Aid. Each bin raises about $1000 annually. Do you have space in your business's parking lot? There is no maintenance, we just need a space. Contact us to help! This is a huge fundraiser for us, and takes no effort. Please call us if you are in the Carlisle, York, Mechanicsburg or Hanover area.
  • These are things we need for camp: coated paper plates, coated paper cups, disposable coffee cups, paper towels, bottled water, juice boxes & bags, heavy jumbo trash liners, clear plastic forks and spoons, coated paper bowls, fruit and veggie trays, fat free and 1% milk gallons, cheese slices, salads, napkins, marshmallows, chocolate bars, graham crackers, homemade desserts, hamburger and hotdog buns, ketchup, salad dressings, pb and jelly, relish, butter, no-stick spray,  individual servings of cereals, pictures cut out of magazines, reams of copy paper, stamps, helium tanks, instant tea mix, instant lemonade mix, ukeleles. Please contact us to help, thank you!
  • Have a car wash for Camp Koala. Contact a local gas station, and see if they can provide the location and a hose.
  • Come to our events! Check out our coming events page.
  • Hold a fundraiser: By raising just $500 you can send a child to camp! You or your club/organization can hold a fundraiser and send a child to camp! Dress down day at work for $5? Three of our former campers have held MAJOR fundraisers for Camp Koala, including a golf tournament and walk/run.
  • Does your employer match your employee donation? This can double your donation!
  • Visit our website's wishlist. Collect items at your workplace or church and donate them to camp!
  • Challenge your co-workers to sponsor a camper! Have a contest at work! Sell tickets to Casual Friday at your office.
  • Challenge other clubs to match or beat your donation!
  • Add the Goodsearch (yahoo) toolbar to IE or Firefox.  Once you add the toolbar for IE or Firefox, each time you shop at one of the more than 1,300 participating stores, a percentage of what you spend will be donated to us at no extra cost to you!  (you could even save money as the toolbar provides great coupons and deals).  The toolbar also has a search box and each time you search the Internet, about a penny is donated to Camp Koala.  No registration is required!  http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/camp-koala
  • Invite our Board to speak to your organization about Camp Koala and about how your club can help with fundraising and volunteer opportunities, and to learn about what we offer our community.
  • Sponsor a support group for $2000.
